About Chris Mclennan

A professional photographer for over 20 years Chris developed his craft in the South Island of New Zealand – one of the world’s most stunning and photogenic environments. Surrounded by the majestic Southern Alps and with a wealth of adventure and outdoor pursuits on his doorstep, Chris quickly moved away from studio photography and began shooting ‘on location’. Now based out of Auckland in the North Island, Chris’s work takes him further a field with projects in over 30 different countries. Clients range from international tourism boards through to travel companies; outdoor sporting goods manufacturers through to international hotel and resort brands, communication and marketing corporates through to the numerous individual operators in the travel and tourism industry within which Chris specialises. Chris’s eye for detail together with his artistic style, professional work ethic and the latest in digital technology have made Chris a sought after professional. With work published internationally and a string of awards under his belt, Chris is now developing a range of photo tours for aspiring photographers to help them experience the wonderful opportunities possible when you journey with a camera!
